dissident structures is an ongoing exploration of sculptural sonic practice, transforming servo motors from industrial use into visual and sonic instruments. Tuned to chromatic scales, the motors abandon their utilitarian function, their mechanical voices unfolding as rhythmic and harmonic structures.

The work extends an interest in materials that compose through their own physical properties. A textile with liquid like qualities surrounds the motors, introducing a tactile and sensorial field that merges motion and light. Matter does not illustrate sound but participates in its formation, creating a space where perception and material agency converge.

This plurilogue of forms does not impose structure but listens for it, tracing how matter speaks, vibrates, resists and aligns, reframing industrial components as expressive entities.
