vom verschwinden explores how bodies are transformed through their interaction with technology. The work examines a state in which presence becomes unstable and identity dissolves into mediated surfaces and signals.

Rather than depicting the fusion of human and machine as progress or threat, vom verschwinden investigates the grey zone between them. It considers how technological systems shape perception and behaviour, and how gendered experience becomes entangled with mechanisms of control and visibility.

The piece moves within the tension between disappearance and transformation. It asks how embodiment can persist when the body is extended, recorded and reframed by technological processes, and how disappearance itself might become a form of resistance.
