Fabrizio Di Salvo is a sound artist whose practice focuses on knowledge making through acoustic exploration: listening as a method to think with, and sound as a way to understand how we relate to materials, spaces, and one another. He develops situations and systems where perception becomes tangible and negotiable, often by shifting the conditions of hearing and attention. Across contexts, his practice asks what can be learned when sound is not only heard, but used as a tool for investigation, relation, and collective awareness.

From this perspective, technology is not defined by command, efficiency, or transparency. It is defined by resonance: by how it couples and by how it amplifies what exceeds intention. Unpredictability is not a failure of control but a generative condition, the point at which his work shows its own agency. In that response, sound becomes more than an aesthetic event. It becomes a site where materiality can be felt differently, and where new forms of relation and understanding can begin.
